Program/Service Notes:
The Downstate Health Care Justice Campaign is a coalition of individuals and organizations dedicated to working for a better health care system in Illinois. We are a part of the Health Care Justice Campaign, a project of the Campain for Better Health Care. We advicate for a health care system that provides for all. In working in local communities throughout Central and downstste Illinois, we\\'re committed to raising public consciousness around the health care crisis through local media outlets, and using grassroots organizing to strengthen our voice and create change. We also meet with our elected officials and urge them to address the health care needs of all Illinoisans through legislation that builds towards our goal of quality, affordable health care for all. To get involved with a local committee meeting in your area, please contact Beth Youngblood.
